French Toast

2 eggs
½ cup milk
¼ tsp cinnamon
20g butter
4 slices Ploughmans bread
To serve
Strawberries, blueberries, green kiwifruit
Runny honey to drizzle

Method

  1. Whisk together the eggs, milk and cinnamon.
  2. Preheat a frying pan to medium.
  3. Melt the butter until almost frothy.
  4. Dip a piece of bread at a time into the egg mixture, then cook it in the pan for 3 or 4 minutes on each side until golden.
  5. Serve with chopped fruit and a drizzle of honey.
